Job Summary

We are looking for a Reinsurance Analyst to analyze financial data for a growing Reinsurance Department. Analysts maintain and execute a variety of financial reports, including month-end, quarterly and year-end reports, profitability analysis, and bank reconciliations.  This position will also assist with some administrative functions within the Reinsurance Department.

Job Duties

• Profitability analysis
• Reinsurance Company reconciliations
• Loan amortization schedules and documents
• Monthly reinsurance entries
• Funding Work Papers; Setting up Wires and Wire Instructions; General Ledger entries
• Prepare information for tax accountants; Distribute completed tax returns
• Special reports
• Special Projects as needed

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Two years of work experience
• Clear and concise communications skills are required
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with QuickBooks and Oracle is a plus
• Basic understanding of databases
• Experience working for an administrative company or an insurance company a plus.
• Insurance/Reinsurance Accounting experience a plus
