Job Duties

 

  • Develop project completion schedules and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Develop code in vb.net and C#.
  • Providing support for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Smart AutoCare software.
  • Maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
  • Update and expand existing programs.
  • Designs, tests and updates software to meet the end users’ needs and achieve user friendliness.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Computer Programmer, Software Developer or relevant position.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software engineering or relevant field or combination of work and education.
  • Required Languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, SQL
  • 3-5 years’ experience using Web Forms, Web Services, SQL Server and IIS
  • Experience dealing with legacy applications and transitioning them to current architecture standards a plus
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, and time-management skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently and on teams
  • Ability to grasp an understanding of a system quickly and become knowledgeable of the system
  • Preferred 1-3 years working in the Insurance and Financial Systems industry
  • Preferred 1-3 years working in the Vehicle Service Contracts industry
