Description

We are looking for an organized entry-level accountant to be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of a variety of rating records. The responsibilities of an entry-level Accountant/Rating Installation Specialist include maintaining the dealership rates of the company through analyzing rating sheets and dealer accounts, as well as preparing reports.

To be successful as an entry Level Accountant/ Rating Installation Specialist, you should be able to work long hours, and have a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a high-performing Entry Level Accountant should have strong Excel and other Microsoft Office experience and have knowledge of key accounting competencies.


Responsibilities
  • Contact dealer/agent/account manager by phone and email to expeditiously collect missing and/or incorrect cancellation documents
  • Post invoices upon receipt of proper documentation
  • Develop cooperative relationships at dealerships and agencies to expedite requests. Maintain accurate and reliable contact listing at each entity or agency
  • Develop and maintain a system that allows for accurate and timely collection communication, process updates and, eventual dealer refunds for non-response after three documented contacts within 30 days
  • Assist Billing Specialist with remittance management; Provide clear communication and resolution to clients
  • Monitor the Manual Claim Form mailbox and process claims in the absence of the primary monitor
  • Assist with data entry when requested or required to meet timelines or deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma required and/or an associate in business or related field preferred
  • 2 or more years of related experience required
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers, balancing large batches of business, and processing financial information
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Results-driven and patient
  • High degree of attention to detail and time-management
